New for the 2013 model year, the "L405" Range Rover boasts an aluminum body that artfully blends the brand's heritage with a sleek, modern look that improved the drag coefficient, more space for the rear passengers, and a much longer list of standard and optional tech features.
Land Rover also relied on aluminum to make the big SUV about 700 pounds lighter than its predecessor. Production of the L405-generation Range Rover ended in 2021.
Power comes from a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine, rated at 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
